It’s good to stay in shape all year round – not just before beach and swimsuit season. However, autumn workouts may differ slightly from those in summer. We suggest how to take advantage of the prevailing season and what to exercise in the autumn.
The gray weather outside the window, characteristic of autumn, can effectively reduce the level of motivation. However, this does not mean that you will have to give up training altogether. So what to exercise in the autumn?
Although autumn is usually associated with torrential downpours and cold, it is worth seeing its more beautiful and pleasant aspects. Colorful leaves rustling under your feet, chestnuts, golden sunsets…you can enjoy all this while jogging. It’s a great way to relax after a long day or to recharge your batteries in the morning – after all, training, especially outdoors, releases a whole lot of endorphins, which are known as happy hormones. In addition, due to the increasingly lower temperatures, your body will toughen up and you will avoid unpleasant autumn colds. However, remember about proper shoes and outfit such as men’s running leggings
If the autumn weather is giving you a hard time, you don’t have to leave the house to get your workout in. What’s more, you don’t even have to give up your movie and TV series marathon. However, instead of sitting on the couch, jump into comfortable clothes, lay out your mat and do your workout while watching TV. Time will pass faster and you will kill two birds with one stone. You can exercise while watching a film or TV series using equipment such as a home treadmill, such as the one at https://athletic24.pl/pol_m_Sprzet-fitness_Bieznie-149.html, a stepper, or a bicycle. However, if you don’t have the space or budget, you might as well schedule a stretching session, fitness workout, or timed strengthening exercises.
Autumn is very often synonymous with constant downpours, which effectively hinders your social life. After all, there is no better excuse to stay under a warm blanket with a book and tea than rain, right? That’s why it would be a great idea to sign up for a group class or plan a joint workout with your other half or a friend/acquaintance. Why is this such a good idea? When it comes to group classes, they are held at a specific time – so you won’t reschedule them and there is a better chance that you will actually go to the workout. When it comes to training with another person, the biggest plus is that you can motivate each other and keep an eye on your scheduled training sessions.
Physical activity can also be a slightly more intense outing in the mountains, or trekking. This is a form of outdoor training that works great all year round, but autumn guarantees the most beautiful views and landscapes – provided, of course, that the day is sunny and without rain. Poland has a lot to offer in this respect. You will be especially impressed by the Bieszczady Mountains, and more specifically by Osadzki Wierch, as well as by the exceptionally beautiful Karkonosze Mountains. A very important issue, however, is warm and comfortable clothing and thermoactive underwear, as well as appropriate trekking boots, such as salewa boots. This will make your trip to the mountains much more comfortable and enjoyable
